F.B. Brockett and Frederick Newton ran the Woodbridge, Connecticut match factory for about a year, and used the existing match stamp design of the former owner, Frank E. Clark, son of the man whose portrait is on all of the Woodbridge factory stamps. The founder was William A. Clarke.
